Stem cell research is a great idea. It can help the quality of life for many people, save some people's lives, make the "need" for animal testing lessen and do good for humanity (and other sentient beings for the reason aforementioned). I wish Bush would've gotten his head out of his bush and allowed this (and would've stopped the AETA which not only condones cruelty, but is a violation of our constitutional rights).

My god the stuff people will dismiss because it challenges their fragile little beliefs. If you are one of the people who are against this because of any reason besides you think it will offend a deity then I would love to hear your reasons and I respect them. I myself am a religious person, and my faith isn't challenged by scientific facts. The world is billions of years old, evolution exists, the universe was created in a big explosion and I believe there is a god. You can't bring me down.
