Very nice !
Dont let the idiots get to you.
They are just envious because you have a brain and they dont.

Nice project, but you need to enclose the batteries in some sort of box and vent it to the outside. Lead acid batteries emit hydrogen gas.

Poor dude needs to get laid BIG TIME A.S.A.P.
I have to agree, why have all this 12vdc crap??????? you need to go with a solar panel or wind turbine to charge that shit. Not charge it with your house power. throw a power inverter in there and cut out all that 12vdc BS.. good luck.. hope your house doesnt burn before you get it, lol ..

I have an inverter already. The way my room is set-up; half of my devices can run on 12 volt directly (halogen lamp, car radio, laptop power supply, ipod/phone charger) so they run directly off the batteries. The other half runs off the inverter (TV, VCR, two compact fluorescent light bulbs, fan)
Solar panels are what I plan to charge those batteries with eventually but those are on hold due to budget constraints.
