Orval Trappist Ale

I took advantage of a break in the heat and humidity to try Orval, a Trappist Ale from Belgium, that had been sitting in my fridge for a couple of months.

Actually, it's a little over $5 here for a single bottle of that size.

It's the best beer, but not in this kind of glass. Take the true Orval glass, and good flight to the paradize.

It used to be my favorite beer for a while, but after a while it became too much of a 'safe' beer. So it changed into the one I still think that's one of my best beers: 'Karmeliet'
