R.I.P Jim Zimmerman Part 1 of 2

Jim Lowell Zimmerman was born on Jan. 17, 1936, in Elma, to Maynard and Frances Walker Zimmerman. Jim graduated high school in 1955 in Colwell. He married Lois Ingersoll in 1957 and together they had four children: Kathi, Bryan, Linda and Laurie. Jim later married LaVonne on May 28, 1983, in New Hampton. He worked for White Farm for 28 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and the farmer's market with his wife. He also enjoyed the casino with his wife and friends. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife, LaVonne; children, Kathi Guenther, Bryan (Lynda) Zimmerman, Linda Zimmerman of Austin, Texas, and Laurie LaBounty; grandchildren, Morgan and Landon Guenther (children of Kathi Guenther and Mick Guenther) of Phoenix; Nathan Zimmerman (child of Bryan and Lynda Zimmerman) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Taylor and Regan LaBounty (children of Laurie LaBounty) of Spirit Lake; stepchildren, Kenny (Karla) Beckman, Brad Hanawalt, Tommy Hanawalt, Jolene Hanawalt, Dawn Hanawalt, Robin Beckman and Val (Craig) Jones; stepgrandchildren, Justin Beckman (child of Kenny and Karla Beckman); Jesse, Coty and Brock Hanawalt (sons of Tommy Hanawalt); Josh, Kiefer and Piper (children of Jolene Hanawalt); Chelsea, Bradly and Joey (children of Dawn Hanawalt; Amanda and Andy Beckman (children of Robin Beckman); and Nick and Nichole Jones (children of Val and Craig Jones).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
