I'm very proud of my brother, Kye Wehrell builder and owner of About Time, an RV-6A experimental aircraft. Ken spent over 13 years building About Time during the very late hours of the evening, and into the wee hours of the morning. Kye Wehrell demonstrates the preparation involved in flying his RV-6A. Aerial footage of Kye and Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski flying over Stone Mountain and North Georgia mountain ranges. Additionally, Kye describes the connection to his plane, About Time. Music by GAS Band of based on the Goldcoast of Australia. Visit their myspace site at http://www.myspace.com/gasbandgoldcoast also their Facebook page.

  • Got to meet your brother today at the Rome flyin. Really nice guy and his love for aviation is infectious. How could anyone spend 13 years and 4700 hours on any project and still be enthusiastic? Must take someone special.

    Hope to see him again.

  • @aviddds Glad you got to meet Ken. Beautiful airplane and dedication to the project. Thanks for watching the vid. Diana

  • Glad you got to fly with Kye. It is quite an airplane. Now where can I get that music. Kye said search the web, but I have been unsuccessful.

  • @n7gn the music is from my son's band GAS they are based on the Goldcoast of Australia.

They have a CD out that is available for purchase. They will be heading into the studio soon for their second CD. Thanks for watching.

  • @n7gn GAS Band has a myspace site gasbandgoldcoast - youtube is not allowing the html here.

  • Dr. Diana, you did an incredible job capturing the essence of his passion for flying. The camera angles were great and the music was fun to go with the flying. Great job! I am also very proud of my buddy Kye for the great job he did on the plane, and his care and concern for safety while still having a great time while airborne.

  • @GeorgiaArchitect Thanks for viewing and your comments. Hopefully, his work buddies won't give him too hard of a time with the video :).
