  • I heard that Glasgow harbor offered Tesco land next to them across from Machargs in South Street Whitinch.

That would be great to regenerate South Street

  • Tesco have now withdrawn from discussions with Glasgow Harbour on the South Street site. They hopes for Beith Street have, apparently, received a boost from somewhere high up at Glasgow City Council. Confirmation of this is being sought but they would have to be sure of a deal if they are giving the Harbour the cold shoulder.

  • This incident happened in SCOTLAND, not England.

  • No, this tesco hasn't been built yet - it has not even been given planning permission for it yet. thats why people where so pissed - the railway station building was one of the many reasons we didn't want bloody tescos in partick. that, and they're gits.
