Did I hit the nail on the head? Sure the frac job does not pollute the water table. The flowback does after they run it in the earth pit and then deep bury it down close to the water, but that is okay. It is out of sight. Probably will not post this one either.

This video is a crock. In reality, at least in my situation, they come in like the Nazi blitz, threaten you,make a big mess, and leave it. The only way to get compensation is sign a release so even if they blow up your house, they are not responsible. The actual frac job might not pollute your water, but after the flowback comes up into the earth pit and they bury it, it will seep into the aquifer from the top. Our grandchildren will be so ashamed that we left them such a mess.

People are so stupid. Learn about frac (theres no k in fracture) before you say its a guaranteed death sentence. The first frac job was done in 1949. If it was as dangerous as you guys seem to think... dont you think there would be some undeniable proof in the last 62 years?

OSE II the non toxic oil spill clean up that can prevent natural resource damage even in spills like the Exxon Valdez, and the BP Gulf spill. OSE II when permitted in the drilling response plans, would give the public confidence drilling could occur and natural resources protected at the same time.

I've been doing independent research on the subject for a technical animation and while this video is far too positive about the dangers of fracing. Not all hydro fracs are equal and a lot of new technologies rely on a much safer process than those exposed in Gasland. With a dwindling supply of easy formation reserves the technology needed is up to a higher spec than before. ... although the comment about what happens when the casing fail in the future is interesting.

Wow. One neighbor with a lot of land speaks well of all of it. So nice of her. I hope she enjoys her life with gas wells in her yard. She may still be alive, now...but she did drink the kool-aid. We will need a follow-up to see how she's doing in 5 years.

Well.....I need a job to feed my family. I'll be applying asap. I would also even be willing to drill for oil etc in protected areas/mtns(as long as it's done the safest way possible). Otherwise, Lets keep paying out of state oil companies for the gas you put in your ride today...Sayyyy BP(BRITISH petro)

A gasman in the video says fracturing is “nothing more than pumping water and sand and at high pressure”. He forgot to mention 240,000 gallons of highly toxic chemicals and carcinogens. He also goes on to say “This process in any way does not in any way harm the environment around these wells”.
One day when he meets his maker, the lord say unto him, “For your sins, you will drink, bath, and wash your clothes in frack water for eternity.”
How can ya’ll live with yourselves and you lies?

why would nobody speak to the film maker of Gasland?? Many calls - no interviews?? In Haliburton we trust. They own the oil They own the Natural Gas!
Dick wins!
@GADCLuzerneCounty
whats funny is most of the "toxic chemicals" they are using is the same exact formula as jello. i would like for you to go ask to tour a frac yard somewhere and i bet you will change your mind about how bad frac is.there are very few toxic chemicals that even go downhole.

Its called enhancing a well, they do it in methane wells all of the, they arent killing the drinking water, the sand holes the cracks open under the ground, the water is potable, you people need to learn your stuff, before spouting off, chaney exempted oil wells from the safe water act because he was the ceo of haliburton, he keep jobs open in america, and you people need to drive your cars, where do you think it comes from?
