okay,i will give you credit for defending armada,towards the end it did become good,but trust hasbro and takara,and therefore by default,the tv show producers to fuck it up just when it got good by replacing it with energon....if they had left armada alone and allowed it to grow and reach its full potiential as a tv show who knows,it mite have become great....and for what its worth,of the 3 parts that make up the unicron triology,armada is the better of the 3

@damo9811 I'm just talking about and defending Armada. Armada started out slow, but it -did- eventually improve and got good.

Energon, yes, was absolute total crap. Not helped by the horrendous dubbing (Script-wise, at least. Some of the returning Voice Actors, like Chalk and Kaye, still did fairly well. At least, when the script wasn't confusing even them.)

Cybertron I'm not even mentioning because I can't judge something I haven't seen. G1, Armada, Energon? Those I've seen and can judge.

@GreatFox42put it this way,cybertron is so bad i would prefer to watch the jap g1 episodes i have on dvd.even though the dvds are dubbed into english you can still hear the jap voices in the backgroud AND they have chinese subtitles on the screen so i have to deal with 3 languages at the same time...still knocks the shite out of cybertron

@GreatFox42 okay you do make a fair point and i do agree the unicron battles were good story telling,and yes g1 had its fair share of mistakes [both the tv show and toys...do you remember the throttle bots and battle chargers,some of the worst transformrs toys ever made] but g1 was an all time classic all the same...and as for cybertron,do yourself a favour and NEVER watch it,it is the worst excuse for a transformers tv show ever.

@damo9811 I'll give you that Energon was shit, but did you see the latter half of Armada? The whole "Minic-con" of the week thing was dropped pretty quickly, even as early as the end of the first quarter with Hot Shot and the Star Saber. And the Unicron battles at the end was some of the best Transformers storytelling I've seen. I don't have an opinion on Cybertron since I never saw it.

The thing Armada had over G1 was an actual plot. G1 suffered from 80sitis: Very barely connected episodes.

@GreatFox42you are entitled to your opinion of course,but before you say g1 was shit ask yourself how come it lasted from 84 to 90 in the usa and 84 to 91 in japan and europe and it was not changed every 2 or so years into a diffeent version of transformers,okay to be fair that was down to hasbro / takara messing with it,but i stil sayl the unicron triology is immature,childish and the cgi does not work,its like pokemon with robots,chasing minicons,energon stars and cyber keys,,,,no thanks
