For all you know these SOF operatives could be some guy in a mask trying to sell people a retarded system.
They claim it solves problems but its solving problems that do not exist with a proper team loadout.
And before you say it yes I did learn everything I know about soldiering from playing call of duty and I don't know the difference of a stupid game and reality.
Look at the video and the situation they do the "test" they get into a mock firefight and he starts swapping the upper and that is a dumb thing to be doing for at least 3 reasons.
Plus its still only one weapon and you will only get another 100 meters or so of accuracy with the longer barrel and scope, No point of taking it when you are part of a team in a urban area trying to clear buildings and set up sniper positions on a roof.
@1CRAZYMF249 No SOF Operative is gonna change over in the middle of a fire fight. If he has the receiver on and is sniping he isnt gonna be in close combat. Switching weapons will also render him useless while switching. Heavier rounds and lightweight. i trust these Special Forces Operatives know what they are doing and talking about more than you, just sayin
Chances are a quality sniper rifle is ranged adjusted and very very accurate for a one shot kill. This snap on a new barrel is never going to be as accurate. It's a compromise weapon.
@sathos Mere seconds are important and what you forgot is taking the new upper out of whatever it is being carried in and the fact that both hands will be on a weapon that cant fire for a few seconds, I am not saying the system is useless just saying it makes a soldier temporarily useless during changeover.
This is a piece of shit. I agree: It's a solution looking for a problem.

@Zooni2 I agree it is a stupid thing made to try and solve problems that do not exist with proper selection of weapons based on the mission.
