@broken080 good learning boat? the hobie 14 is for sure one of the hardest boats to tack, if you sseek a learning boat id say go for a hobie 16, the hobie 14 is just untackable on high winds and big waves, dont u agree with me? I say that because even now, after more than 5 years of sailing a hobie 14 I still finding myself on a ackward position from time to time, but it sure is a fun boat to sail

Cats are by nature harder to sail than most monohulls since they flip so easily and go so fast, but the 14 is fairly forgiving, so yea, it's a good learning boat.
