A tune from Edden Hammons, WV. Sometimes played at almost hoedown speed, but I think it wants to be a slow dirge. In the old-timey bass tuning of DADA (if fiddlers cross tune, why shouldn't we?). Not a huge difference here, but for some other tunes tuning up the G to A makes a big difference in playability on the bass.
