The long awaited new photographs & video from the Carnival Spledor's return to dry land.
The disabled cruise ship Carnival Splendor was docked at the Port of San Diego's B Street Pier Cruise Ship Terminal after being towed by tug boats to San Diego on Thursday, November 11.
The ship was towed into Port by tug boats, led by the U.S. Coast Guard, and escorted by Harbor Police vessels. The Splendor docked around 8:30 a.m. and the more than 3,000 passengers had disembarked by 1 p.m.
The 952-foot vessel was crippled after it lost power from an engine room fire while offshore of Ensenada earlier in the week.
This has been a very monumental and stunning story ,
all the passengers have reached home safely.
