@terryk1233 A geosynchronous orbit is not "stationary". It is just an orbit that has the same period as Earth's rotation. And, GPS satellites are not geosynchronous. They wouldn't work right if they were.

Good video on how much auto focus sucks. don't use it for this stuff!! if you can help it. anyway! Awesome video! good job! Its fun to see the ISS whip by.

So cool! This fly by is much faster than the one I saw- for the very first time- a few weeks ago around 4:45am here in Philly..about 5 min...slower moving than I expected so I thought it was a plane at first - Until I saw no red/green lights. Then tonight was 6min from the NNW - SE at 8:45pm.Ok vide, using iPhone, I finally captured a decent long exposure photo.

@TheMontanaDave wow awesome , can you send me the 2 pics ? i'm curious xD . I couldn't capture the SS because i was outside without my camera , and a powerful light caught my attention and i just stared at it xD

@PosEidoNhNs Try getting it on a still Pic, Ive got 2 ok ones.. They at least show the solar panals, but the damn thing is freaking moving.. I had to use 1200 speed to even try to experiment. Good Stuff!

actually its 7,700 Meters per Sec.. so that 7.7 Kps she's hauling it.. I have tried MANY MANY set-ups with still cams to get it right (with a streak) Never can get er.. Got many good tries.. Keep up the good Camera Work~!
