mrbrown of See What Show (http://www.seewhatshow.com) interviews Academy Award-winning director Ang Lee about his new movie, "Lust, Caution". Lee talks about the set, his choice of Tang Wei as the lead, the negative Western film reviews, and censorship. And no, he did not cut 30 minutes off for the China version of the movie. It was less than that.

In the upcoming projects front, he clarifies that he is not working on The Hand of Shang Chi, based on the Marvel comic.

Watch the interview and find out from the man himself.

  • yah the interviewer is definitely sgporean. Americans are e dumbest shitever..they prefer CGI and action over good storytelling(HULK) and poor Ang must have suffered a huge setback when the movie was 'considered' a disappoinment. Sorry unhinged yuppies, that's your opinion(subjective) I say Ang Lee did so well for the Hulk movie

  • VERY GOOD FILM.

    not for low IQ PEOPLE.

  • i think thats the wrong question for Ang in terms of Western versus Asian audience ... I find that Lust, Caution is strongly referencing Italian political dramas from the 1970s .. ie Il Conformista ... I think the critics who didn't like it, were working for papers that sell to cinematically unexposed audiences, eg the common American

Lust Caution is a cinematic masterpiece
