Riverdance on EL90/PSR8000

My version of Riverdance played on my "old faithful" EL90 with my PSR8000 midied up to it. Apologies for the little errors and "fingerslips", I was quaking in my boots recording this! Hope to add on my Fantom XR module and try to record something else in the future....

i absolutely love this song, and this cover is amazing! Did you use sheet music, or did you just learn it by ear?

@smiley15ay Hi, thanks for your kind comment. I usually do most things by ear, but I had to use the sheet music for this, basically to see what the timing was as I wanted to program my own drum track (the timing in the middle section is weird - 6/8 4/4 2/4 etc). A great piece of music, by an amazing composer, but goodness knows why he used these varying time signatures! No doubt he had good reason, and he probably didn't expect amateurs like me to try do it on keyboards. :-)

@Fantomaniac haha yes! Do you mind me asking where you got your sheet music from? Because normally I can pick things up by ear too, but I've really been struggling with this song - partly because of the odd timings like you said, but also because the end is just so fast! Thankyou :)

@smiley15ay Hi, yes, I just got a book of Bill Whelan's music from a local music shop a few years ago. I've somehow managed to lose it! :( Maybe you can obtain it from the internet though - I haven't checked to see if it's available - maybe someplace like Sheetmusic direct may be able to help you.
