Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris

This film is a recollection of the two visits I made to the cemetery of Père-Lachaise in Paris, the first on 14th December 2004 and the second one on the 4th March 2006. I appreciate the fact that its not everybody that once in Paris would spend some time visiting the dead but I trust you will enjoy this rather respectful film anyway.

I am thrilled that I found this video. I visited Pere Lachaise with my school 11 years ago, we only had about 2 hours to go exploring, and I didn't get to see a tenth of its beauty and serenity. Magnificent work, thank you for sharing!

Went to Pere-Lachaise just to see Jim Morrison, and left with so much knowledge of so many greats--Chopin, Proust, Wilde...the cemetery's sculptures and landscape are absolutely amazing and yes, one can get 'lost' in there...I learned that the hard way!

Pere Lachaise is an excellent place to spend a morning/day in Paris - historic and ethereal place of contemplation. Thanks for uploading.
