This film is a recollection of the two visits I made to the cemetery of Père-Lachaise in Paris, the first on 14th December 2004 and the second one on the 4th March 2006. I appreciate the fact that its not everybody that once in Paris would spend some time visiting the dead but I trust you will enjoy this rather respectful film anyway.

  • @hectuss Pues muchas gracias jejejeje

  • I am thrilled that I found this video. I visited Pere Lachaise with my school 11 years ago, we only had about 2 hours to go exploring, and I didn't get to see a tenth of its beauty and serenity. Magnificent work, thank you for sharing!

  • Thanks for your comments, regards, Clod

  • So many beautiful images, especially of my beloved Chopin and Oscar Wilde. And the music is very appropriate. Thank you so much Mr. Fontanetti for this beautiful video.

  • Thank you for your kind words Janice ! Regards from London

  • armonioso, los cementerios son un reflejo de la cultura de los pueblos (según quien te lo relate). Ojalá alguna vez visites el cementerio de La Recoleta en Buenos Aires, También es increíble

  • thank you fontanetti for share with us that beautifull video. I had thougth visit that interesting place. thanks again.

  • Love Allan Kardec!! Lovely Tour! Thanks for sharing!

  • 2:43 RIP Jim Morrison...you rest among Greats! Went to Pere-Lachaise just to see Jim Morrison, and left with so much knowledge of so many greats--Chopin, Proust, Wilde...the cemetery's sculptures and landscape are absolutely amazing and yes, one can get 'lost' in there...I learned that the hard way!

  • How haunting and beautiful! This has re-energized my ambition to go out there. Even brush up on my French. You have really created an atmosphere. I went to London in 1977 but never made the dash from there to Paris during my 3 weeks in the UK. I always thought I'd get back "soon". Thanks again.

  • Pere Lachaise is an excellent place to spend a morning/day in Paris - historic and ethereal place of contemplation. Thanks for uploading.
