I just want to add to 8:29 - That even the devil believes that Jesus is the way to salvation and that there is only one God - James 2:19 thats why the devil tempts God's people and tries to destroy them. However, if are claiming that you are a Christian, believe in Jesus Christ but sin continually than your faith is no different to the devil's faith because the devil believes in God but yet the devil has sinned from the beginning - 1 John 3:8 and thats why satan and the devils will be casted down into the lake of burning sulfur - Revelation 19:20. But if a Christian believes in Jesus Christ and does not continue to sin but walks in Jesus Christ then he is a true believer and he is truly born again. So are you truly born again? If not repent, turn away from sin, trust Jesus and live holy!
