If you honestly got modern-day Malware... especially ones with Rootkits keeping stuff around and other nasty devices...

You already have the only functional removal tool...

The Windows Install Disk. Backup your data to external drives, CDs, DVDs, whatever (not your programs... just the installers... obviously the ones you trust) and format the drive.

Any other way -- you'll never truly know if it's gone.

Well, Ad-Aware is pretty weak on that front. I mean, it's sufficient, usually, but...

SUPER AntiSpyware is a decent program - or if you're willing to spend cash: PC Tools Spyware Doctor. But yeah, weak graphics-card could do it, too.

Ad-Aware and Avast should be enough, I think. But my Laptop has a very weak graphic card.

Well, PC-slowdowns tend to happen a lot if your computer is full of spyware. D'you have a decent anti-spyware and anti-malware program?

It might be worth looking into it :)
