Community Healthwise (CH) is a unique initiative to raise the profile of work opportunities in the Community Services and Health industries, address skills shortages and connect young people to a career with a future.
CH brings professionals, schools and young people together allowing students to have an interactive hands-on experience at various skills and work areas. Each event consists of separate booths, each one dedicated for a particular occupation. Interested small groups of students spend time in each area.
Each volunteer professional prepares his/her booths in an entertaining, informative manner motivating students to seek information about future career choices, encouraging them to gain the best possible information to enable them to make a informed decision about a future career.
CH is an industry funded initiative and involves local volunteers and professionals across a specific region.
