@criscblue11 TheDodgeChallenger is correct! It is a lot. If you have driven both and still think the LT1 is almost the same as an LT4 than you either drove them differently or incorrectly or the LT4 was just worn out or something. Any real Corvette fan will tell you that the LT4 has noticeable performance improvements!

@TheDodgeChallenger only if you are drag racing the lt1. somewhat similar drivers in street or track racing your difference is going to depend on the situations that arise during a race. theres just simply not an enormous amount of difference between the two. now i understand there are some lt4 guys here that have no one to pick on but lt1s or older models, and to them i would say, they should hope to lt1 guy isnt too much a better driver, or they may wana trade their lt4 after the race lol

@TheDodgeChallenger Lol..not exactly. What I am saying is the amount of difference you will feel between and Lt4 vs an Lt1 is not enough difference to talk about with somewhat comparable drivers. Theres just simply not that much difference. Now my opinion may be due to the fact that ive owned both. And the C5 when it came out, Then the C6 and so on. Needless to say i never own a Vette as im always upgrading, but from my memory, the amount of chatter over the lt4 was worth the extra

@criscblue11 .5 seconds in the 1/4 mile is a big difference when it comes to comparing sports cars. Just like a car that does 0-60 in 4.2 will get blown away by a car that will do it in 3.7 secs. Fact---The LT4 is much more fun to drive than an LT1. Any real corvette people out there know what I am talking about!

@TheDodgeChallenger sure it is. in a straight line. Im talking notable difference, which it does not have. And yes ive driven both. On a track, it would still depend on the driver. It wouldnt be like running a Z06 vs lt4. Where it doesnt matter the driver or terrain
