Intel is awesome.

If you know how transistors work then basically the N and P-type semiconductors can be no less than 4 atoms across (according to Michio Kaku) or else it will effectively be a short. If you are familiar with Moores law (which states that the transistor shrinks by half like ever 16-18 months) it is due to run out in about 20 years or so. this means that we must develop quantum computers...

i would assume the theoretical limits of the transistor sizes would be broken down around the size of a few atoms.

Lol I like the way Adam was self aware by saying we cant afford an electron microscope until after we get paid for this Intel gig

AWESOME!!!!

Lmao A GOOD VID

That's interesting, but wouldn't that supposed "jump" cause inconsitancies with reading by the computer causing it to incorrectly compute data?
I'm still curious what we will do beyond the 6nm scale. Already hearing about proposed nano-molecular computing technologies/assemblies and if that's the case what is beyond that? Can we go to sub-nano molecular components about the size of a quark?
are these on TV? because i havent seen them

These three videos were created for sharing online only. Inside Intel, there are lots of Adam and Jamie fans who thought it'd be great seeing the dynamic-scientific duo explaining the wonders of computer technology advances...their own, creative ways.
