Silent Hill 2 - A Revisit -SH2 PC Glitch-

This is a glitch that alowed me to go back to the beginning of the game after completing a game.

Apparently, when you load a Cleared Game Save while playing a game you wind up being transported to the beginning of the game with everything you ended the game with, including your last weapon equipped. It adds on, too, to you original Game Cleared time. In this video, you can see that there is no fog, some music/ambient effects are missing, and you'll notice some other weird things that are worth checking out.

Silent Hill 2 was psychologically such a strong experience for me: I've never been so scared. I was pretty young back the day I bought it, and actually left it to dust for quite some time, because I was actually affraid of playing it. I could walk the streets fine, but the buildings creeped me out. But after I finally, after a year after buying the game, completed the game, I noticed I haven't really been affraid of anything anymore. And... it's just a game! I can't believe it.

WEll on me it's actually darker... wanna make SH scary? Then turn it very dark. Set brightness lower... and it turns the game shit load scarier. To me, completing every SH is so scary, I actually am affraid to play it. I consider it sort of troubling, because I don't think the game was supposed to be so scary you will be affraid to play..? But that's the SH for me... and it thrills me to every bit. :)

at 4:50 with a charachter hack you can walk in the water and follow the light to the hotel when you enter and try to exit it says "i can't just leave yet" and there pyramid head in the basement

I come back to this video after so many years and now I look at all the bs I typed xD Well, not bs, but that grammar just blows my mind. Thanks for all the thumbs up, though! I'm extremely happy of the SH HD Collection coming to PS3 at the end of this year... SH2 with trophies truly is like a dream come true. I only hope that the trophies pop up during loading screens, or cutscenes, like in Heavy Rain. It kinda kills the mood... "Holy shit PH!" *You have earned a Trophy: Met Pyramid Head.*

@Massacretalitor Silent Hill 2 for me was the scariest. I remember the first time I actually used a PS2 console, I rented the console, SH2 and DOA2 from the video store, so I didn't have a memory card, I knew I couldn't die. I got as far as the Toluca Prison before I had to take it back. I think I was 11. I have been a huge fan ever since and am totally fascinated with the symbolisms and meanings throughout the entire series.

I must say that this is a weird kind of "glitch" is this can even be called that.

The scary thing for me was... After I first installed my SH2 and started to play the chainsaw was already there, and that scared me shitless because it wasn't supposed to be there...

After playing this game, I had to get my memory wiped, my eyes taken out, saute'ed, and put back in, had to conduct brain surgery on myself while awake, had to cut my ears off, boil them in spoiled milk, and superglued back on. Damn!

God ya know what... this is so creepy to me. It really is like returning after your journey, everyone is else is gone, your adventure is over but you're still stuck.

Kinda fun running around I bet, but oh my lord it creeps me out
