@DriverSeat2 are you kidding a corvette? maybe a well done cobra but this car is fast ten sec street legal i,d take it over a corvette anyday regards Ron

@1RadNomad an odd comment very popular car and improved in most peoples opinion but each to his own, running gear, interior braking , handling , all better i love it, anything but not butchered .well each to his own cheers
-
there are corvettes on every corner this car is one of a kind it is a ten second racecar and driven daily , i love it,

I had a TR4A back in 1969, not sure what year it was, but mine had a panel/scoop? on the hood like yours. Was that a custom job or did a certain year of TR4A come with that on the hood? It was a sweet car. Yours is gorgeous.

What a waste!! Dude, if you want a V8 that makes lots of noise, get a Corvette or Cobra!
-
It would actually look nice if it didn't have cobra badges and side exhaust!

@1RadNomad i couldn't agree more.... completely butchered! Looks like its been put together very well, and im sure millions would disagree, but i think its over the top and far too brash for a beautiful little British sportscar. I'd be gutted if i ever sold my TR4 and the next guy tore its soul out. Just my opinion though.

I LOVE it!! I thought of doing similar. I'm curious what your diff. gear ratio is. I was talking about this with an uncle of mine and he said "you'll never get traction". Muscle-car people and sports-car "purists" never can understand!!
@wmankeyman diff. is 9" ford 3.55 gears, tremec 5spd. not my car but I have entertained the thought of buying a tr4 in need of a resto & doing it up like a shelby cobra, making it look like it came that way in the 60's.
