@ZMAN166 u did see tom petty. he and the heartbreakers were the band that played on this album. marty stuart did play on this album, but i'm pretty sure that mike campbell (heartbreakers) is playing on this paticular song, marty went and played some live shows with cash though, so u were right.

People fail to realize that is is Johnny FUCKING Cash and he is without a doubt the best thing country had and lost RIP Johnny, you made music better, you added your own touch to it and made a song that wasn't yours, your own. PLUS he was like 80 when he did this so you 18 people should be beat and stuck in a rusty cage.

@corpsiii He took It and tuned it into the way he would have recorded it. Threw his later year's he coverd song's like this. He got award's for a lot of them. A good artist alway's record's a song differently than the original. If it was recorded the same as sound garden's he would be considerd a wanna be, not a true artist
