Yes, you can choose your seats online 24hrs before takeoff.
ermm dont go for any seats close to galleys or toilets, ive flown with virgin allover the world, but that was my first flight sat next to the toilet and it was terrible.
Also sit on the left side of the plane, you see more :L

barbados is amazing love it there. I flew with virgin to there in 2008 and first choice this year... first choice were crap

Great airline, we flew back on a V-port equipped airline and the flight was totally empty :L.
I had 4 seats to myself. :)
