ALA student Fatoumata Fall (Senegal) shares her vision for harnessing the power of water at the Grand Opening Celebration of African Leadership Academy.

On February 6-7, 2009, African Leadership Academy hosted its Grand Opening, celebrating the establishment of this school seeking to transform Africa. The second day featured a Leadership Symposium with speeches from ALA students along with distinguished leaders in various fields.
