Another Bosnian song that I like. I keep getting comment saying it is a song from Serbia. It might be possible. In order to avoid all nationalistic tensions and fight, I take 'Bosnian' out of the title.

As most of the traditional songs sung in the Balkans, this one is also famous accros the whole region. I just found out that a video under title 'Whose song is this' had been deleted from YT. It was a documentary about a song that all of the countries in the Balkans, and even Israel, claimed was theirs! It was funny to see how all persons interviewed were 100% sure it was part of their tradition. As if music was a static thing and couldn't travel with people. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this song, wherever it is from.

While waiting for her lover to come back home, a young girl is taking care of a rose. She's watering it with her tears and kissing it while dreaming of her lover's lips. :-)

The title of the song is "My rose bloomed this morning".

  • That is truly sad that she can't even name the song the way she wants it because some smart asses believe they know where origin of the song. Who cares??? It's from the same area.So all of you claiming it to be from a particular country: shut the hell up and just enjoy the song.

BTW Divno si odpjevala pjesmu, svaka cast! ;)

  • Song was written by Dragisa Nedovic, a Serb born in the city of Kraujevac, central Serbia, so it is not Bosnian.

  • Prelepo :)))

  • You should trust your own judgment - its a BOSNIAN sevdalinka song !

(This song isn't the only one thought and/or even hijacked by Serbian public and/or musician. Many Bosnian Sevdalinka song theme are used and then proclaimed indigenous Serbian - most famous and typical example of this ugly practice is sevdalinka called "Šehidska", which most of Bosnian knew as "one of the most beautiful Serbian folk songs" until people proved this was wrong). So, keep your correct title - its a BOSNIAN song!

  • @zanaserdarevic

Pa de, ljubavi moja, uzmi gitaru i kameru, pa nam zapjevaj, grlice mala - pa neka se Bosna zatrese....

Kako te nije stid curu tako vrijedjati? Seljanko jedna, zbog tebe i takvih SELJOVERA nas sve BOSANCE smatraju nevaspitanima... SIKTER!!!
