Today was such a nice day i thought i'd get outside a little. I also thought "what a perfect day to try something stupid" So out i went to try one of these Butterfly Kicks i've been watching on YouTube.
Its freaking harder than it looks!! Someone give me some tips?

  • Ok, don't duck your head. Actually try to look up and straight forwards when kicking your legs in the air. Also stick your arms out straight to your side.

  • I don't know why, but watching you fail helped me master mine. Haha. Maybe I just learned what not to do. Haha. But no foreal you almost got it. just duck your head down lower (to get more horizontal) or you could get even more then horizontal and go sorta slanted if you know what I mean, but you gotta duck you head lower and throw your feet higher.

  • ur too soft..lol

  • Try getting your arms up more when you do the dip, and when you start to do the b kick, try and force your whole body up, use everything: arms head legs, and just force everything up. You're doing good you just need a bit more lift. Now get out there and show us a btwist.

  • I think you should...

    a) Try to get your shoulders lower than your hips when you spin. This helps the rotation go smoother, and it makes it look a lot better.

    b) Get more momentum. You could either do this by swinging your arms faster or by jogging/hopping before executing the move.

    Those are two things that really helped me learn this, so maybe they'll help you! Just keep practicing till you get it!

  • ur doing it right but take a few steps when you go to start the trick and do a 180 to give urself momentum. dont forget to swing ur arms as hard as possible m8, good for 1st attempt :)
