"I'm Voting For," an online video testimonial campaign launched by Campus Progress Action, gives young people a platform to talk about how their personal experiences and passion for the issues are driving them to the polls. Throughout the campaign, we hope to create a narrative about why young people are voting in 2008, and focus the attention of presidential candidates and the media on the issues that are important to us. While everyone is focusing on who they are voting for, Campus Progress Action is interested in focusing the debate on what matters most -- the issues.

If sensible gun laws include allowing the good guys to own guns, I all for it. Put guns in the hands of all law-abiding women and the crime of rape becomes non-existent. Jails will be less populated, too, and more jobs for mortuaries will be created!

Maybe instead of stricter gun laws, they should make murder more illegal. That's right MORE illegal. That'll stop criminals!!!

Sensible gun laws mean 100% shall-issue concealed carry in every state for those who can pass appropriate background checks and take a training course to inform them of escalation of force laws as well as firearm safety.

Anything more restrictive only gives the upper hand to criminals--those who don't care what the laws says they can or can't do.
