Dredging the Seaplane Lagoon at Alameda Point, the former Naval Air Station. Video shows contaminated sediment being dredged from northeast corner. The northwest corner is next. Contaminants entered the lagoon from sewer outfalls and include PCBs, cadmium, lead, pesticides, and radium-226 used in luminescent paint for aircraft dials in mid-20th Century.
