Dredging the Seaplane Lagoon at Alameda Point, the former Naval Air Station. Video shows contaminated sediment being dredged from northeast corner. The northwest corner is next. Contaminants entered the lagoon from sewer outfalls and include PCBs, cadmium, lead, pesticides, and radium-226 used in luminescent paint for aircraft dials in mid-20th Century. Located in Alameda, California.

  • Need more innfomation I one worked at pier thre at the museum ship , will they be clearing the mud at pier three , and how much radaton is in the mud the plans for this removal project were to be compleated two years ago according to local papers
