  • Happy birthday mom !

  • Yup I stared on my ZX I bought for $650 @130K mi with 2K invested in parts alone and every time I fix it up it becomes a little bit more alive. I started with the charging system and currentally its idiling a little rough but I fixed most of the vaccume system.

On my 83 ZX the max I go is 3K on the first 3 shifts and 2.5K 4-5 That gets me up to 60 in 8 seconds if I am in a hurry. Other wise I "econo" shift it which works allright if you are on flat ground going down hill.

  • Nice 280zx. It reminds me of when i first started my build.

  • Looks and sounds good man!

  • Happy birthday Mom!! Hey thats not bad gettin a chirp in 3rd! I feel yea on that heater/ac thing. Car sounds good, and I love the digital dash. Time and money brother, time and money.

  • Well sounds really good. Great job. Yeah, me i usually rev at about 6000rpm to about i dunno maybe 6300rpm. I think the key to this car just like maybe any car dont hold the revs too long. But i also have a performance cam so that doesn't hurt either. Dont worry about it not being turbo unless it's aftermarket turbo it ain't a BIG difference. Tell mom's Happy B-Day too. Keep it up.

  • Really? I rev to 5500 every once in awhile but no higher. Usually just rev to 3500 to 4500. Nice car though.
