The bassoonist is good, the speed in the 1st mvt is just a little too fast for my taste.

go spend 5 dollars on itunes and download this whole concerto and listen to judy leclaire play this bad boy... sounds sooo pretty

I use a neckstrap with my balance hanger and it's fine.

they dont use neck straps they use harnesses it takes the pressure off the neck and is much easiar

i use a saxophone harness and thats what most proffesional bassoonist, atleast around here, use for standing. i think it works great but i always prefer the seat strap now.

Not me. I always solo with a seat strap. The neckstrap negatively affects the comfortable reach of low notes for me.
