first of all there is a street more crookeder its on vermont st in the potrero hill neighborhood and alot steeper. And that intersection is nuts an accident waiting to happen also it happens on leavenworth its one thing to enjoy the sights but its another to endanger both tourist and drivers lives, and as for bicyclists quit acting like saints driving is difficult as it is and many zoom by red lights and stop signs cars take a lot of time to stop they dont stop immediately

it's so easy to drive down that street and tourist are so stupid. that intersection is an accident waiting to happen and if u want to make the left from hyde street turn right into lombard then go into driveway and make a u turn from the driveway.

Ahaaaa! Nice display of arrogance. Leave the tourists alone. The only thing that drivers should really be careful on how they navigate on streets to avoid clipping pedestrians and cyclists who must share the road with drivers. The tourists are having the time of their lives. Let them enjoy it.

Very true. One has to be extra careful near that section of Lombard street. Not because it's the most crooked street, but because of the tourists. Nothing against them though, I find it understandable.

I have to agree with this video. My husband and I just drove down Lombard Street on Monday (just posted a video on my YouTube site -- check it out!) and people just want to stand in the middle of the streets taking pictures while there are cars (like us!) trying to actually DRIVE! yes, they are tourists and they want to have a good time, but that doesn't mean lose all sense of reason and take your children in the street!
Cabbies are the worst in San Francisco... ugh! And we live here!
