can you sample?? or all u can do is make beats based on what the xr 20 comes with??

No sampling. Either you can use the buit-in sounds or connect midi and use as a midi contrtoller. Sometimes I connect to midi and use the SYNTH track with sound on my piano or sounds in fruityloops. Then just use XR-20 for drums.

Ok Folks. After I do the next session of videos I will setup a blog. There are a few questions that I have repeatedly answered in the comments on all of the videos. But no one likes to look. I don't mind answering questions, but to answer the same question over 20 times really takes away from the newer and advanced questions.

You can connect the XR-20 (either Stereo Out or Headphones Out) into a mixer, usb sound card/device or computer's Line In/Mic port.

Most likely a Preset kit. Since getting the XR-20 I have wanted to organize custom user kits, but I have been to lazy.

i have a beat but i want the other part of the beat to come in along with the first one after the 8 taps repeats, how do i do that?

Hello, I just bough this today. when i record a beat it doesnt play back in the same way i made it. It seems like a latency problem..any help?

can you use that pattern with the same sound and go to another drum-set and add that drum-set's sound to that pattern with a diffrent pattern? and combine the two to get something new?
