Day10
A short update for everyone. Today the doc has applied some cream (Braunovidon Salbe) on the wound instead of antiseptic spray to prevent the fresh tissues from sticking to the bandage. The wound seems to be healing very good :)

  • Yea the wound is getting alot better!Shame to those who said "just cut it stop making the poor thing suffer".I honestly believe that it is worth the pain,i would prefer to suffer a little than to lose a leg, even if it's crippled!

  • His wound is healing up very, very nicely :3 that's wonderful

  • Excellent news, I'm so glad he's doing better!

  • He's probably in a great deal of pain at that point, as the skin stuck to the dressings when they were taken off.

Cats wag their tail when they're angry or in pain.

  • Hi Thomas. Well, the call has been placed, now I'm waiting for them go call me (i hate voice mail!). I sent you an email via your yahoo email with some more links. There is even a place in Australia that makes handicapped carts for cats and dogs! That sure is better than buying something over here in the States.

Anyways... keep an eye out for my email. It has the name SeaMowse in the re: field.

  • the wounds are defintly getting much much better after the little incident he made by him self. although i notice on 1:10 (on the video clip) the cats tail is shanking or viberating a lot. can you expain why? (i have a dog so i dont know much about cats.)

  • Alera looks great! So glad to see he is healing well. I know this must be very overwhelming and I hope you are taking care of yourself as well. Be well. Sending lots of love and prayers your way.

  • :)Happy to see healing well !

  • I estimate Alera to be about 8 weeks old in the very first video you posted of him, which would make his Date of Birth around the 24th-27th December 2006. I think he should be a Christmas Day baby and have his birth date as 25 December 2006! What do you think, Thomas? Then, as we're celebrating Christmas, we can stop and think of this special boy. ☺
