this is the most utter bullcrap i've ever heard... i'm not saying a "little six year-old" should be sent into the devil's lair, but if they don't learn to deal with persecution when they are young, how are they expected to deal with it when they are older... not only that, but the CHRISTIAN friends of mine who go to private schools are much more crude mouthed and sinful people than the NON-CHRISTIANS i go to school with.

To teach your kids to deal with persecution YOU should TEACH them. Take them to hand out tracts or witness in the bad part of town. Parents shouldn't leave their kids to themselves to learn these important lessons, they should guide them through them personally.

I agree with your Christian school comment because I when to Christian school.

For life lessons:

School is a bad place and Public school is a really, really, really, really BAD place to send your kids to learn "life lessons".

That's the point...it's NOT the govt's roll to be teaching our children. Now the govt's gets to brainwash the children and look what's happening in our country without God in the classroom! He was convicted. I have no wish to listen to Bob's commentary about Christians are nicer than god. Jesus would not have beaten a 7 year old boy with a belt. if you think he would have then you are not a Christian. I have already had this discussion with Bob's mother. He is scum and had I been that boy's real father I would have taken the law into my own hands.
