@MrLCLM You're right it probably had nothing to do with being the best team in the NHL during the 89 season.

@ldhorricks I hope you know that 89 team was loaded to win and after that year we didn't have the capability to keep them all together. The thing that kept the flames from being a dynasty was the oilers dynasty total control over the western confernce.

@ldhorricks ...Theo's trade was smart, he was a drug addicted liability and would of cost the Flames in the long run, just like the other teams he screwed over.
