The best method is that: look at your clock and fix date and time. That should fix the problem.

thank u ... i was about to throw my computer..... ppl said it may be problem with the date thing .... but date was alright ... i have added it in exceptions ...but is it safe ???

is there any way to turn this crap off. Its annoying as hell.
I find that recently I am stumbling onto tons of sites that this happens to, do I have to make an exception for all of them?

Because certifacate is generated by a CA (certificate authority) not trusted by firefox.
