@shreddybits Marty has said in an interview that he did drugs from 15-17 years old. Then he quit the drugs because he played alot better. Says it on one of the vids called Marty Friedman the essentials. It's on youtube. Lesson/autobiography video.

@LTDGuitars420 lol...he's following his heart and passion and ideals which should be respected as an artist. He's not selling out for money, he's not abandoning his artistic ideals (which were never completely in line with thrash anyway) and he's producing music more similar to what he created early in his career as a solo artist and with cacophony than he ever did with megadeth. Stop expecting artists to live for fan ideals and let them be themselves.

Broderick writes incredibly generic solos. His scales are either descending or ascending, he doesn't use any unique patterns or interesting phrases and his guitar playing is very robotic. Marty is a truly unique guitar player in every aspect, something that Chris lacks big time. Calling him an "amazing" guitarists is an asinine statement. I know the masses can't control Marty, but who the fuck just ditches their fans like he did? And then to add insult to injury he joins some cheesy ass pop band

Indeed, he also doesn't/ didn't give a fuck about a band he spent a decade playing and writing with, or the fans it acquired. Who do we have know? Chris Broderick? I mean, he's good, on a technical level. But his solos are so generic, nothing compared to Friedman. I love Marty, he's my number one favorite guitarist of all time. But he's a fuckin douchebag, dressing in sparkly clothes and writing songs about Fanta and shit? WTF is wrong with the guy? Fanta is a shitty soda anyway, why promote it?

@SuperGamer87: There really isn't manga for kids. Manga goes from 12-40. He was talking about manga that is not for Middle school, Jr. High, and High school aged kids. In short, he likes seinen books. I wonder if he likes Deadman wonderland, Monster, Death Note, Gantz, etc..
