For me useless. Not only because people will ask "what are those dildoes doin on your head?". The light bothers other people with beam into face. Secondly your face is an obstacle and light dont fall on your hands well. For third, those torches are not designed to such a close contact.. unless with diffusor. I`m survivalist. Maybe you need it for disco.

@volgha Thanks for your in depth review...
Looking at your channel you don't seem to like very much
Being a survivalist of such great repute you would be on your own and not with other people anyway
If you turn a light down and lift up your hands you will see them....bit technical I guess
I'm pretty sure Fenix designed this unit for a reason and it works pretty good for me.
"What are those dildoes'?? well why worry what you look like Rambo??
Don't bother posting again

for the LD10, does the light hit your eyes from the side? (This happens annoyingly with the ZebraLight headband).

@pelahale I haven't had that issue although I usually run with the LD20s for the extra light.

@megasimon999 - damn to you, I went ahead & bought these. I like them, but the short LD10s DO shine right into my eyeball - fortunately I have the open/shut fenix diffuser, so it helps deflect the eyeball shine. Did you know that the small Surefire handtorches like the outdoorsman or executive also fits in these? Hope you make more reviews so I can get jealous & buy more stuff.

@pelahale LOL...now you have to buy two LD20's, I guess it also depends on your head shape where the light is going to hit. I haven't tried other brands of flashlight but I'm sure its pretty flexible in what it can hold.Whats the Fenix diffuser you mention? that sounds like a nice addition. I'll keep doing reviews so you can keep buying gear :) You should check out some of my other ones for ideas for Xmas....Cheers
