READ MEH!!!
All Guild Wars 2 logos "are belong" to ArenaNet.
First and foremost, a MASSIVE hat-tip to my brother who's epic skills in Photoshop CS3 and Vegas Pro 8, caused me, on more than one occasion, to drop my jaw at the professional look of his work.
Initially this video was supposed to be simple, but the deeper we got into its production, the more complex it became. Finally, we just decided to go the distance and turned it into a major project that has brought both great frustration and, especially in the end, great satisfaction.
I am SO excited for Guild Wars 2, and a one-minute video simply doesn't do it justice. Even still, I hope people will see my passion for the game in the little details strewn throughout, motivating them to check it out. The game will be amazing!
ENJOY!
Video/Photo
--The news layout was created completely from scratch.
--Yes, I am everyone at the "Anti-quest Rally." (duh)
--The screen-shot found in the "Boring Fights" clip is from Ascalon, Pre Searing, in Guild Wars 1.
--For the record, we DIDN'T actually graffiti the side of that building.
--YES THE GRAFFITI GUY IS THE ANCHORMAN!!
Audio
--The music playing in the background is a remix 100% created myself, based on three prominent Guild Wars themes heard in the Manifesto video. I created the remix using Reason 5.
--Credits of the voice acting (lol) and "weapon SFX" in the fight scene, go to myself and my brother.
----Anchorman Script----
Good evening. For the MMO news network, I'm Dan Anchorman. The anti-quest rally this year was a success, as Guild Wars 2 fans passionately promoted the game's new dynamic event system.
So far, Arena Net is the only MMO developer to actually deliver the change we've been hoping for.
In other news, the activist group known as Enviro-Elementalists was approached for comment today at their latest protest.
"The breathtaking visuals of Guild Wars 2 has shown that environments are characters too!"
Dedicated class roles are resorting to vagrancy, after ArenaNet's successful divergence from the traditional class roll system.
Boring fights are running rampant in generic MMO's, reminding the world just how epic the visceral combat of Guild Wars 2 will be.
Finally, in anticipation of personalized stories in Guild Wars 2, the most passionate fans are showing their love for the game by creating a unique and lasting change.
Just spent the entire day (yesterday, June 25th) playing one of the new dungeons in GW2 with the developers. What an incredible time that was! After most people left, my brother and I stayed after-hours with a few devs from the Content Design team working our way through the dungeon. It was awesome!

@VirtualMafiosa Ya Leo was there. He and his guest were in a group with my brother and I earlier in the day. We rofl-stomped the story mode version of the dungeon. But the explorable mode kicked our butts. It wasn't until my bro and I were in that group with the devs from Content Design that we finally accomplished it. Took us about 4 hours I think, and many many wipes. We were there at the offices playing until 11:30pm. Loved every second of it. :)
