Pro tip: If your a mage you can stand where the sewer entrance is and shoot the magic missiles into his face and your get the Drake Sword in 10 hits.

Well, actually, a lot of people apparently don't know that the legitimate way to get the sword is to have the dragon land on the ground and attack his tail... technically, I guess that makes it an exploit, wouldn't it?

omg get ur dex to 14 cuz thats what u need for the sword

increase your dex to 12 to be able to used the bow. Then buy Standard arrows! when you got the sword, farm souls to level up your strength to 16 so you can use it in one hand.

So do you know why you didn't get the Drake Sword? Because you don't have enough Dexterity damnit James! That little cross over the bow and how it's blacked out means that you will be able to use it, however it will be severely weakened.
Get enough Dexterity to wield the bow, buy about 50 more arrows, maybe a couple of heavy arrows, and you're laughing!
Hope this helps, but please, for God's sake, get more Dex! Yes I watched the whole thing, yes I know I'm hardcore.
