It appears that there are some pretty extreme creationists in the USA. I suspect that they realise how flimsy their arguments are, and need to aggressively attack and belittle disbelievers. So, let's face facts: the term 'belief' is not the same as the term 'truth'. 'Belief' implies an unproven theory, whilst all 'truths' are proven. By definition 'religious beliefs' cannot be simultaneously presented as 'Religious truths'. Belief that the bible is the word of god does not constitute proof.
It is very sad to observe that religion is big business in the USA. As with Microsoft, there is a drive in religion to metaphorically 'sell' you something that you don't actually need. Religion is just an overpriced placebo. The pope has a similar problem, because dwindling numbers of Europeans bother with Roman Catholicism. And why should they, when half of the RC priests are perverts? The pope really doesn't like the place where I live, as England is extra anti-religion.
Purushadasa claims that Noah's ark could hold 50,000 animals on 100,000 sq ft. When I pointed that out to him that would be only 2 sq ft per animal, less than most animal humane society consider adequate, he deleted my comment and claimed that I not post any comments that were not backed by science, as if his were,
