Azam Ali's Story as told by herself part 1

This is Azam's story broadcasted on April 22, 2011 on NPR, the same day we (csi arts) had the first concert of 2011 in Washington DC at George Mason University for her and Niyaz.
Just before the concert she received a call that her interview is being broadcasted on NPR (www.thestory.org) that day. Later she send me the interview and I, with her permission, prepared this story in two parts for you tube.
I used some pictures of her, her son, and her husband, Ramin Torkian, from the time they stayed with me and my family here in Maryland. The pictures from the concert are by my good photographer friend, Hasan Sarbakhshian.

Hope, this interview now answers some questions her fans had about her past and some mysteries reflected on her songs.
She is a remarkable artist and amazing individual.
