Is that all that matters to you? Dusty has a better average, better fielding skill and is faster. Plus, Dutsy is more likely to win MVP then Utley. And no, i'm not on the Dustin Pedroia bandwagon cause the Sox are my favorite team, then Marlins.

If there was a choice between Pedroia and Utley, i would take Pedroia based on the fact that he actually puts effort into his games, and plays second base the way it should be played. Dusty sacrifices his body to get to balls. I can count on one hand how many times i've seen Utley dive for a ball.

the marlins have to sign uggla soon. his cost goes up everyday. they need to show the fans they are serious about winning. if uggla has an mvp type year we won't be able to afford him. how bad would the marlins look trading uggla after a 40+ homer season with over 100 homers in three years. if they want to keep him cheap they can sign him now or hope he gets hurt. the latter option is stupid and doesnt help you win. i dont care what prospects you get you will lose if you trade this guy.
