Are you lot for real? This was the biggest band on the earth EVER.
They were the first to gross and break all records in the music industry. Forget U2 and the wannabies - they will never EVER be matched.
It was the drummer that let em down in later years. He demanded people to stop writing to him as he will burn your letters. People loved him for it though especially the OAPs. Peace n luv n bus passes.
How many singles did they have in the US top 10 at one time?
Don't be lazy google it...

To hell with that. She can cry. I'm not going to shed any tears for some conniving, wallet-sucking, gold-digging piece of fluff.

The nuts
The only sad thing about all of these early songs is they were all too short (probably because of advice from record companies). I wish they were all extended by at least 1 minute or more each. Maybe 2 minutes? Music, feelings and lyrics are too great!

@bradman2701 Well, songs would have to be under 2 minutes and 30 seconds to get any radio play.
I dunno if the same rule applied to regular album songs (in that case, they just wanted to make them short, I guess), but that was definitely the rule for singles (if they wanted radio play.)

@xrockxxandxxrollerxx Until Hey Jude came along ,that is.

@TurquoiseChameleon That was much later in the 1960s, after music progressed to a point that these previous "rules" of record-making were out the window. Many popular songs in that era were extremely long, in comparison to songs of only a couple years prior. In fact, songs over 3 minutes would be long, in comparison.
