India generates just 80 watts of electricity per capita - that's about one light bulb's worth per person. With the population projected to hit 1.5 billion by mid-century, the country is turning to nuclear power to meet its rising energy needs.

  • @akotlia chernobyl? USSR?

  • chernobyl was a disaster coused by "professionals" themselves. if everything is done wise no problems occur..

  • nuclear reactors are actually pretty safe. Its always interesting to see western powers take the "do as we say not as we do" stance.

  • America, Europe and Russia have had there share in misusing the Nuclear power till date. India, which has a far better reputation of being a responsible country, now will show the world the way forward in attaining clean energy through the innovations it has achieved not only thorough international co-operation and support but indigenously as well.

  • Its a dangerous game this... the future doesn't look nice.

  • These videos are always interesting to watch and see how others do things differently from the way we do things here.

  • we are lost, remember chernovile in URSS?
