Surgeon nos comenta en el backstage de la Code Summer Festival (celebrada el 4 de julio en la sala Fabrik de Madrid) qué es lo que se lleva entre manos, así como su relación con el dusbtep y con la afición de nuestro país.
I was at the Orbit for Surgeon's first 'battering' - Andy Weatherall 'warmed' it up and then Tony picked it up +20 BPM from the off.
Enjoyed many a time in Morley banging it out for 8 years, but have since moved to London and luckily heard the next phase of Techno (led by Tony) at places like Bleep and Split.
Anyway, after 15 years, we all need to slow it down a bit and wait for the hardcore / 'rave will never die' sections at the end of his recent sets.
@dayve3 move with the times man... surgeons sets these days are the most experimental and forward thinking of any dj around these days.. he utilizes technology and various styles of electronic music to create something truly amazing in every set that he plays.. he has moved on from the 4 to the floor monotonous battering!
This music is awfull. I remember the Surgeon that used to fill the Orbit from the mid 90s to 03 with the greatest techno beats from around the globe, including his own. I miss that stuff as do alot of people

I agree, many was the times in the mid 90's when he'd blow the roof on three decks, you know, vinyl!!!
