  • Years later: FUCK IT LET'S DO IT ANYWAYS

  • @Bugstomper2 Amen

  • He makes complete sense. Then Bush happened.

  • How ironic? AND if they had invaded iraq during Gulf War 1, General Shwarzkopf would've 'kicked Saddam Hussein's ass', and they could've saved all the American deaths that have happened in Iraq since then?

  • @CaptMandrake360

Ok, I'm also a little lost, I think it would be better to forget this... lol

  • @Hperman09 There were alot of reasons, I don't feel like digging up my copy of Decsion Points though, I reccommend everyone read it, just to keep an open mind, though, I'm sure the same information can be found elsewhere all over the internet.

  • @MissMariet31 You're the one who brought up nations, etc... I am a bit lost on our conversation, myself.

  • @CaptMandrake360

I know, but I don't understand what is the point of your question. What do you want know about the concept of nation? What do you want to know about me with your question?

  • @Mariet31 Yes, empires have risen against, and conquered other empires. That doesn't erase the history of the previous empires. For instance: we know very well about Alexander the Great's conquests and how far he reached (the known world). The same can be said for all the other empires.

  • @CaptMandrake360

That's very hard to say because that's an ideological issue that comes from the rise of empires and continues today. The problem is that nobody even knows which was the first empire that existed, because every empire emerged, destroyed every trace of the other's existence. I would say is the need to feel part of a common origin with other humans, and that need has a high price...
