Just the one house. Actually, I think we were out for longer than a month, but less than a year. Lots of rain that winter caused the ground up in the Santa Cruz mountains to get very wet. Highway 17 was closed for several days due to mud slides, and other homes in the area were damaged as well (but not in this slide...)

no one got hurt. we actually moved out of the house about a month before it completely collapsed. though the owners didn't have mud slide insurance :(
